Hey everyone, we've gotten some great replies on our question "What's your favorite horror movie?" in order to enter our contest to win a copy of Dread or Monsters and Other Childish Things pdf books. You didn't know about the contest? Click here to find out all the details and how to enter!
Remember now, not only do you get a chance to get one of these fantastic games, but more importantly your voice will be heard on the best horror movie of all time (or at least the horror movie with the biggest fanbase amongst THG readers - same difference). You've got until October 29th to enter and send us your favorite horror movie, and then on October 30th we'll post the results of everyone's entries (including our own favorites!).
We also want to pass on a very warm welcome to any Troll in the Corner readers who have wandered onto The Hopeless Gamer from their kind plug over there. I'd like to return the favor. I first found out about Troll in the Corner from their zombie Pathfinder supplement Kickstart project, World of Aruneus. Go check it out if you like Zombies or Pathfinder (or both!)
Speaking of zombies, or maybe something else, I found this amazing radio drama of Pontypool. Pontypool was a book, then a movie (see the post in this post), and is now a terrifying hour-long radio drama produced by the BBC. What's even better is that it's acted by the actors of the movie. It's pretty much the perfect Halloween experience, so don't miss out. You can find the entire recording here.
Keep on Halloween'ing!
